Jena brings over 24 years of diverse dance experience to her classes, with a strong foundation and passion for ballet. She danced for 15 years as a dedicated ballet performer, including four years as a pre-professional company member with the Southwest Youth Ballet Company. Her training extends beyond ballet to include jazz, modern, contemporary, flamenco, character, and k-pop dance. Additionally, she has explored country, swing, and ballroom dancing through college courses, enriching her understanding of movement and rhythm.
Jena holds a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, initially pursuing a path to become a physical therapist specializing in dancers. However, her journey led her to discover a new passion, and she is currently earning her Doctorate in Audiology at A.T. Still University (ATSU). Despite her varied experiences and academic pursuits, ballet remains at the heart of her love for dance. Her classes reflect her dedication to technique, artistry, and the joy of movement, creating a welcoming and inspiring environment for her students.
