Competitive Ballroom dancing is known as Dancesport. Ballroom dancers compete like athletes, and they perform like artists in American Smooth & Rhythm, International Standard & Latin, and more!
A Showcase Performance is a recital for ballroom dancers. Keep in mind that your Showcase choreography should be hard for you in the beginning. It’ll take time to feel comfortable with what you’re learning.
